How to set up a catch all email address

A catch-all address receives emails sent to any address at your domain that doesn’t exist. For example, if someone emails [email protected] or mistypes your name, and there’s no such address, the email is delivered to your catch-all mailbox instead of being returned to the sender.

Use a catch-all with care. Spammers often send to made-up addresses at a domain, so a catch-all can attract a lot of spam. For most people, it’s better to create the specific addresses you need, or forwarders for them – see how to forward email to another address.

First, log in to your Enhance panel – see how to login to Enhance Panel. If you only have an email address and no panel login, ask whoever manages your hosting to do this for you.

Turn on catch-all for an existing address

  1. Select Websites in the left side bar, then select the website your email address belongs to.
  2. Select Emails in the menu along the top. You’ll see a list of your email accounts.
  3. Open the menu (⋮) next to the email address and select Manage.
  4. Select Catch-all in the menu on the left (or scroll down).
  1. Turn on the switch next to Route any messages to a non-existent address at the same domain to this address.

Set it when creating a new address

When you add a new email address, tick Make this email address a catch-all below the email address.

Turning it off

Go back to Catch-all for the address and turn the switch off. Emails to addresses that don’t exist will then be returned to the sender as undeliverable.
