How to forward email to another address

You can automatically forward emails sent to one of your addresses on to one or more other email addresses. There are two ways to do this, depending on whether you want to keep a copy.

OptionWhat it doesBest for
Forward from a mailboxKeeps a copy of every email in your mailbox, and sends a copy onWhen you want emails in two places, for example on a colleague’s address while you’re away
Forwarder-only addressSends every email straight on, without storing it. You can’t log in to it or send from itAddresses you only need to receive on, such as sales@ forwarding to your own address

First, log in to your Enhance panel – see how to login to Enhance Panel. If you only have an email address and no panel login, ask whoever manages your hosting to do this for you.

Forward from an existing mailbox

  1. Select Websites in the left side bar, then select the website your email address belongs to.
  2. Select Emails in the menu along the top. You’ll see a list of your email accounts.
  3. Open the menu (⋮) next to the email address and select Manage.
  4. Select Forwarders in the menu on the left (or scroll down).
  1. Enter the Forwarding address and select Add.
  2. Repeat to forward to more than one address.

Emails are still stored in your mailbox as well, so it keeps filling up. Check in occasionally and delete old messages, or see how to check or change your mailbox size.

Create a forwarder-only address

  1. Select Websites in the left side bar, then select your website.
  2. Select Emails in the menu along the top, then Add account.
  3. Enter the Email address you want to create and choose the domain.
  4. Under Account type, choose Forwarder-only.
  5. Under Forward emails to, enter an address and select Add. Repeat for each address you want to forward to.
  6. Select Add at the bottom of the page.

Stopping forwarding

To stop forwarding from a mailbox, go back to Forwarders for that address and remove the forwarding address. To stop a forwarder-only address, see how to disable or delete an email account.

Forwarding to a free email service, such as Gmail or Outlook.com, usually works well, but those services apply their own spam filters. If forwarded emails go missing, check the spam folder at the address you’re forwarding to.
