A brief explanation
Over the past five or so years, we’ve watched cPanel become increasingly bloated. Its “all-in-one” server approach—paired with a steady stream of new features that only a small minority of users actually need—has caused performance to suffer.
It no longer feels as fast or as streamlined as it once did, and the growing focus on upselling directly within cPanel often sidelines hosting providers like us.
On top of that, cPanel has implemented yearly licence price increases far beyond normal inflation.
All of this has prompted us to explore whether more reliable and sustainable alternatives exist.
A faster hosting setup
Through this search we tested several and although there were some decent panels one that immediately stood out was Enhance CP
What caught our attention was frankly how much faster it was both in the control panel side, serving websites, webmail and items like phpMyAdmin, it wasn’t just a bit different it’s very noticeably quicker!
This is due to (in our opinion) it being a clustered setup so the control panel, web, database and email are all handled on separate servers removing the bloated “do everything on the same server” setup of cPanel.
It also has a clean powerful interface that is fast, clear and well designed.
How have customers found the new system compared to cPanel?
We have had very positive feedback about the speed, ease of use and some of the useful features like cloning websites to staging and back to live with a few clicks!
Enhance has a much cleaner, user focused, interface thet feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the obscure and often confusing interface of cPanel
What happens now?
All new customers are setup on the new system automatically.
Existing customers will be contacted when your time to move arrives, we will handle all the moves and let you know if any action is needed from you.
